Mixed Media Artsy Fun!

                                  Happy Wednesday CIP Fans!
I decided to create a fun artsy project for todays post!
My theme started out with using the heart because I wanted to create something using the Resinesense. I also wanted to alter the chipboard house from Maya Road. I thought the heart would go perfect on the door.
I have always wanted to alter the chipboard house
so I decide to give it a go!
For the texture on the roof I used a Brickwall stencilet and
Distress crackeling paint over the top of the modeling paste.
I wanted a rustic look and not perfect so I left it where you
could see some of the paper on the roof.  For the window &
sun I used Sunshine from CI paints and then added some
glossy accents over the top. For the door I embossed it and
then added Chocolate CI paint. The clouds and dots I
used CI paint in Turquoise. For the chevron stripes I used
Rose Quartz and Tickled pink over the modeling paste.
I also used these 2 colors on the stamped flowers.
For the metal heart using the Resinesense I added a
key to the center, and added pearls, the word love
and glass glitter. I realize now, don't use colored glass glitter
because the color bled in with the resin. I completed the project
adding some more stamps and some doodling.
What I love about creating artsy projects they don't have to be perfect instead you are just being creative! Have you tried an artsy project
lately using the CI Paints? We would love to see them, you can
share them on our CIP facebook or blog on the right hand column!

A close of the resin product, the heart and shimmner on the
 clouds, sunshine and chevron stripes.

The amazing CI paints I used!

Don't forget if you would like a chance to win some CI paints we have the challenge on the blog and facebook! Each challenge you join in your name will be added to a drawing to win some CI paints!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
